Frequently Asked Questions

QUESTION:
Do my kids have to go full time all summer? I prefer to not pay for weeks I know we’re on vacation. Do we have to do full week, or are there partial week options?

ANSWER:
We are her to serve the community and what your needs are. Currently we are creating the waitlist and what your interests are. Ideal is full time, just like a private school, and we are open to puzzling together weeks or days for families and making something that supports the community. IE: If you want Monday, Wednesday, Friday and somebody else wants Tuesday, Thursday, this is totally possible. Please join our waitlist and what you are interested in as our space is extremely limited. We have kids interested in full time, all day except for specific week they are on vacation, so we’re open, flexible and listening to what everybody is wanting.

QUESTION:
How many teachers will you have per student? What is their education, experience with kids?

ANSWER:
We are a child led learning environment, and keep teacher/student ratios low. The kids will always have a minimum of 2 teachers with them at all times. Meaning a 6/1 (student/teacher ratio. State standard is 12/1) for the younger kids. Our standards are far above that state minimum requirements in all aspects. The teachers have been in the childcare field for many years, have passed background checks, and are deeply grateful to their responsibility as teachers.

QUESTION:
My child is older/younger than the ages you mention, is it possible to make an exception so they can enjoy summer there too?

ANSWER:
In 2026 we will offer younger camper options, but for 2025 we will not have the capacity to support campers younger then 4 year old! If your child is older than 12, we love the concept of a junior counselor/guide for older responsible kids. Email me so we can discuss options for your older child.
